I am starting to think that "Limited Edition" is just code word in the candy industry for a beta test of new candy. If it fails all they have to say is "Well, it was a Limited Edition candy and never meant to stay on the market" and if it succeeds then they get to keep it in the stores and say "Due to high demand we have decided to continue offering this wonderful candy to the public" blah blah blah. Well, once again we have a limited edition candy and we are here to spend out hard earned money on it so you don't have to.
Limited Edition Nestle Crunch Bars with Peanuts.
Excited yet? A chocolate bar.. WITH PEANUTS! Once again the candy world is turned on it's head and we are blown away by a concept neverbeforeseen. This might possibly be the most revolutionary concept to ever hit the shelves.
Chocolate and peanuts.. BUT WITH A TWIST! Not only is it chocolate and peanuts but it also has those tasty crunch things in it. Too bad that Nestle seems to have forgotten the peanuts.
I have clearly labeled the peanuts for you in that picture. After years spent with things like Snickers having only a few half peanuts in an entire candy bar was sort of a let down. The bar is a pretty standard crunch bar, it's filled with the crunches. Sure, that's what we normally love about Crunch bars but this time we are supposed to be filled with the excitement of real peanuts. Unfortunately the peanuts are totally overshadowed by the crunches. I am also pretty sure that the whole thing about there being only a few peanuts in the entire bar doesn’t help much either to add to the whole peanut experience. In fact, there are so few peanuts in this bar that you might even be able to eat it in school at California.
If only there were more peanuts the whole experience might have been as mind blowing as the changing of the year that is coming in only a few short hours.
2.5 cheeses. Worthless upgrade to a candy standard but at least it still tasted pretty decent.
