September 7 2005 -- Another Loss

So there I was, in my new condo (woo! I moved out and bought a condo!), alone with nothing to do. My girlfriend had left after spending the weekend, my nearly rabbi level jewish buddy had gone back to Virginia, and mangay Jason had returned to Pennsylvania to snuggle up with whatever man he was going to meet that night in his bedroom. It was just me, a pair of silk boxers, and a king size bed with no place to go and nothing much to worry about. The shades were shut, the computer was on, and the internet was just waiting to give me whatever it was that I needed. I looked over to my right and saw a small hand towel just sitting on the floor, begging to be used. The day before I had gone to a porn shop with everyone and was pretty charged up after looking at walls of gay Asian porn and various vibrating 12" large black ... things. I needed to release! So what did I do?

Went to my parents house for milk and cookies.

Yup, Chips Ahoy Soft baked Chunky cookies. What better way is there to quell the wantings of the flesh than with some good old fashioned mass produced cookies? I say there is no other way. At least no other way that I can write about here at the moment.

It was Labor Day so that meant a bbq, and when you have a bbq you have a whole lot of meat. At least real Americans do. Hot dogs, hamburgers, steak, ribs, sausages. But after a day of meat you want to have something for dessert, and tonight that thing was cookies.

Coming from ..

Oh crap on everyone.

Here I am writing up a nice review and I do a quick Google search and find this link. Damn you Marvo and your Hawaiian speed and agility. Not only are did you beat me but I totally forgot that you beat me so I started writing this here thing up after eating them over the weekend. Looks like I am the one who needs a kick in the shins.

Anyway, back to the story which is now totally a fluff piece to make up for me not getting to this earlier.

So where was I?

Oh yeah, it was Labor Day and us real Americans were BBQing and eating meat. After the festival of meat it was time for football and dessert. Today's dessert menu consisted of various things but my main draw were these cookies. Why? That wonderful "NEW" label, mostly. Why bother with old ice cream or candies when I could have something new?

So I tried them out.

And they were wonderful.

They tasted just like I wanted them to taste. Mass produced non home made cookies. They were soft and indeed chunky. The amount of chocolate in them was outstanding. Combined with a glass of milk they were a product that we could all be proud of.

4 out of 5 cheeses.
