Today was a good day. I’m a conquistador of sorts as I discovered something amazing…a new 3 Musketeers bar. When I came upon the new 3 Musketeers Mint with Dark Chocolate I almost squealed like a little girl. I’m a mintaholic and any mint product makes me happy, especially a 3 Musketeers one being that I also love them.
That’s right, this isn’t a joke, they have actually made a new version of the 3 Musketeers bar. No longer do Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups and Kit Kat bars hog all the glory of NEW! versions of their much loved candies. The Musketeers have joined in and they come out swinging. They don’t just add some flavor in like those other guys as they have also changed the shell to dark chocolate. Just in case you didn’t know how a 3 Musketeers bar tastes, they let you know: “Whipped Up, Fluffy Chocolate-on-Mint Taste” Sounds kinda hot.
Also if you can sorta see on the side there they let you know 45% less fat than the average of leading chocolate brands. Basically they are telling you this candy bar is good for you if you are dieting. It’s full of nutrients and only 150 calories. They also let you know that there are two bars inside…exciting!
Look at how slim and sexy that looks, it seems to be thinner than a normal 3 Musketeers bar. Mmmm, looks tasty, dudn’t it? I will now bite into this bar of uber candy.
Oh man, this is awesome. It reminds me of something but I can’t put my finger on it. Their description is spot on, the chocolate is dark and the mint is light and fluffy. I will say that this, it really has nothing to do with a 3 Musketeers bar except for the light innards, although I think a regular 3 Musketeers nougat is thicker. I recommend this to anyone that likes mint, it’s really delicious. The mint flavor isn’t too strong but it’s noticeable; the perfect blend. If you don’t like mint then you probably won’t enjoy. If you don’t like dark chocolate (I don’t like it) you are probably fine, this isn’t bitter at all.
4.5 cheeses.
Oh yeah…”One for all, and all for one.” Had to say it but I couldn’t think of a clever way to do it. :(

AH! I remember what it tastes like. I’m pretty sure it’s very close to a York Peppermint Patty but not as strong. It’s also fluffier.

I found this same candy for the first time yesterday, and I completely agree with you! It’s light, minty, and absolutely delicious! I hope they keep it around for awhile.

I must try this! I haven’t eaten 3 Musketeers in a while, it used to be one of my favorites but now I find it too bland and focus instead on York Peppermint Patties (am I the only one who thinks they’ve shrunk?) and Reese’s Fast Breaks. But are there actually nutrients in this? I know people are saying dark chocolate has antioxidants, but when it comes down to it it’s an indulgence, not a supplement. But I still want to try it…
Oh, and you could have put “One for all, and all for one” right after it mentions that there are two bars.

I bought this thinking it would be a 3 Musketeers with added mint flavor, but it’s nothing like a traditional 3 Musketeers bar. It’s a York peppermint patty in log form. Big whoop.

This product left a bad taste in my mouth. It is half the size of the regular 3M’s bar, does not have chocolate nougat, pretty much is a copycat of a York Peppermint Pattie and is still the same price as a full size candy bar. I will not purchase this product again.

I completely agree. Only I’d give it FIVE cheeses. Actually, I don’t even like chocolate (I know. I’ve heard it a million times, I must be crazy) which is why I was reluctant to try a Mint 3 Musketeers with DARK chocolate. But now I am addicted. They are phenomenal. They’re like a York Peppermint patty only BETTER because they’re not so dense and not too sweet but definitely more satisfying. True, it has less fat than most candy bars, but that won’t help you much if you devour all of the ones you can see, will it?
